United In Raising Breast Cancer Awareness 

 Main sponsor Antabax encourages cancer survivors to live an active lifestyle  

Cancer persisted as one of the five principal causes of national mortality for the past 20 years, and the trend has escalated.  In 2014, cancer contributed of 13.02% of all deaths in the Ministry of Health hospitals compared to 9.23% in 1994[1].  Breast cancer remains the top more frequent cancer in females for the year 2007 to 2011.      

Antabax, the no 1 Halal antibacterial personal care range is the main sponsor of the Breast Cancer Welfare Association (BCWA) Bowling Carnival 2019, held on March 10, 2019 at Sunway Megalanes.   

  The brand contributed cash and products to encourage more cancer survivors to continue active lifestyle, through the friendly competition and camaraderie of bowling.

The sponsorship is a collaboration with the BCWA and event organiser, SportsUnite. A total of x breast cancer survivors, family members and friends participated in the event.

We are constantly inspired by the cancer survivors, families as well as the BCWA team.  We are glad to continue to sponsor their initiatives in raising the awareness of breast cancers in Malaysia, the top most frequent cancer among females in Malaysia.  We will utilise all our resources to support the cause, through media and social media,” says Ms Vivian.

The top 10 teams and two players with the most pin drops will be awarded with medals and exciting prizes prepared for them by Antabax.
